Greetings From The Office of The College Head & Director of Students Affairs
As we mark this 10th anniversary today, we cannot but look back to the accomplishment of the school so far, as well as the challenges we have faced in the last few years and return all glory to God.
Retrospectively, the College had grown from the twenty-six (26) students into grade 7 and 8 and five (5) members of staff to two hundred and sixty-two (262) students and forty-two (42) members of teaching and non-teaching staffs as at today.
On October 2019 it got approved. And by 2020, 2021, it was accredited to write Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE), West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) with the National Examination Council (NECOSSCE/NECOBECE) respectively.
The college has graduated the class of 2020/2021, 2021/2022 who sat for the external examinations. The result was a great success and many of these students have gained entry into various universities within and outside the country to study courses of their choice like Medicine, Accounting, Computer Engineering, Agricultural Economics, Biotechnology to mention but a few. We can only give thanks to God and to my other distinguished colleagues who devoted their unflinching commitment to the service of mankind; in shaping these children to be useful to themselves and the wider society. Indeed, they have remained our ambassadors to keep the flag flying.
Mention must be made to our esteemed partners in progress (our parents), you all are our backbones, we recognize your supports, encouragement and all active roles played to the development and progress of this great citadel of learning, words aren’t enough to express our profound gratitude.
We will not relent in ensuring that our students are given the best as we have enhanced our curricular activities to include Computer Based Examination, Coding, Robotics, we have also created a visual learning academic website (vle.divhelpcollege.com). This site enables the students to view their E-Note, Report sheet, Assignments, etc. in other to prepare the students to be relevant in today’s world.
One of our core missions is to develop the psychomotor domain of every child before graduating, to this end, the school has created vocational classes ranging from Shoe making, Sewing, Hair making, Graphic design, Catering, among others.
As a school, we are committed and determined to ensure that the core value of the school is enshrined in our students, to develop them to face the world and also inculcate mental uprightness, Godly standing, moral ethics and ability to compete relatively with their peers so as to make their parents, the school and the Nation proud in the years ahead.
LONG LIVE DIV-HELP SCHOOL!!
